HTC Nexus 9 specs leak alongside pricing info and first image

Rumors about HTC working with Google on a Nexus tablet have been abundant this year. We've heard quite a few times that an 8-inch or 8.9-inch device would be coming, and that it would be manufactured by HTC, and not Asus - the company responsible for both Nexus 7 iterations.
Now though almost all the details about the upcoming HTC tablet have been leaked. It may be called Nexus 9 when it launches, and its codename is Volantis (or Flounder). It's got an 8.9-inch touchscreen indeed.
However, it comes with a very odd resolution: 2048x1440. That would be a big departure from previous Nexus tablets, which all had 16:10 aspect ratios. The new Nexus is closer to the iPad's proportions, though it's not 4:3 like Apple's tablets either. And that's strange, since the source of this leak claims that the Nexus 9 will have 4:3 aspect ratio. So something's off here, do note that.

We saw leaked photos of what may be fully assembled external components from Apple’s next-generation iPhone 6 earlier on Wednesday, and now a new set of photos once again might show us exactly what we can expect from Apple’s flagship smartphone later this year. Reports claim that Apple’s new iPhone 6 is currently entering mass production and with hundreds of thousands of workers involved with that process, leaks are simply inevitable. E3 2014: Live updates as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo reveal big new games in LA

By far the most hilarious announcement from the Xbox conference was this, from Capcom.
It's a new downloadable add-on for Dead Rising 3 bringing classic Capcom costumes and arcade style gameplay to the already delightful zombie splatterfest.
Of course in an homage to the ridiculous titles afforded to Street Fighter games over the years, it's called Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX plus Alpha.
Boom-shaka-likey.

The big surprise at the end of Sony's press conference on Tuesday morning was a trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
The cinematic trailer didn't give much away, but developers Naughty Dog have revealed a few details about the game's story.
They said: "The next generation of Nathan Drake will explore what it means when Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. He will embark on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. It’s his greatest adventure yet and will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

HTC Sense 6 on the HTC One (M7) Review

Before last year’s HTC One smartphone arrived on store shelves there were a lot of questions. Could HTC, which was once one of the world’s leading smartphone makers, craft an Android device that could compete head to head against the understated gorgeous design of the iPhone 5s and the power and features of Samsung’s Galaxy S4? Once users got that now year-old smartphone in their hands, they found out the answer pretty quickly. The HTC One was then, and still is, a fantastic piece of Android hardware, maybe even more attractive than the HTC One M8 that replaced it.
Now HTC is throwing HTC One M7 owners the Sense 6 software from that new flagship smartphone.

With iOS 8, The iPhone Will Become Your Digital Hub

At Macworld 2001, Steve Jobs famously introduced the “digital hub” strategy for the Mac, making it the device where all of the single-purpose gadgets for things like recording movies or playing music would be managed. At this year’s WWDC event, Apple showed that the iPhone is the new hub, and your Mac, iPad, and everything in the cloud is now just an accessory.
This is quite a pivot for Apple — at Steve Jobs’ last WWDC keynote, he declared thatiCloud would be the new center of everyone’s digital lives: “We’re going to demote the PC and the Mac to just be a device.”

HTC One E8 vs HTC One M8: What are the differences?

It wasn’t long ago that HTC released its latest flagship, the One M8 and more recently still it released the mid-range HTC One Mini 2. Now the company has announced the HTC One E8, which seems to be designed to fill the small gap in the market between those two.

Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say that it’s designed for people who want a high end phone but don’t care about a premium design, whatever the case it seems like a fairly niche product. But that doesn’t mean it’s not worth buying. Read on to see exactly how it stacks up to the HTC One M8.
