Untethered Jailbreak For iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone 4 Hitting This Week

According to a now-deleted Tweet transmitted by well-known hacker Muscle Nerd, it would appear as if an untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone 4 will be hitting us as soon as this week.

The question becomes: will the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 apply for other devices aside from iPhone 4? The answer, at this point, seems to be yes. At least for A4-based Apple devices, such as the iPod Touch 4 and the iPad.
Of course, Muscle Nerd has managed to throw us off with the deletion of his tweet. Could it be he doesn’t want the release time frame announced? Perhaps the team has hit a snag and won’t be able to deliver by Christmas?
Whatever the case, we’re watching this closely. We think you’ll agree, though, that this would be a nice little Christmas gift.
