Acer tablet PC-Iconia Tab A500 based on Android 3.0 OS to enter into India

Acer, the leading PC maker has come up with a new version of tablet PC-Iconia Tab A500. It will be released on 24th April in UK and soon later in India. This 10.1 touch screen tablet has already created a sensation in the market regarding its size and this tablet is fully equipped with the latest Google Android 3.0 ‘Honeycomb’ operating system. As informed by the retailer, A500 is powered by dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 250 processor and has 1GB of RAM.

With its wide display, Acer tablet is designed for rich multimedia entertainment and hence it comes with a high resolution, high colour contrast display with wide viewing angle providing higher colour accuracy for better visuals from different perspective, allowing users to play or share HD video with friends on the go. With its 10.1inch wide screen it is able to run and play premium HD arcade games and complex online 3D games with the help of multi-touch screen and gyro meter control.

With its wide view this tablet will give excellent results for photos and videos. With 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera it will give great results for HD videos and photos. It supports Adobe Flash Player, output via an HDMI port, 1280x800 LED-backlit display, 2 USB connectors, and this new gadget will be a great competition in the market. The tab currently supports WiFi only which goes all the way up to 802.11n but Acer plans to unleash 4G version this summer.

Its other models too like Acer Iconia W500, Tablet A100 which are said to be lower in prices that A500 are there which means the buyer will be getting the best deal in terms of features, quality and it will be pocket friendly as well. With the available range of tablets available in the market, this gadget seems to almost have it all with a price range good to start with but its 10.1inch screen will be a add on to it.
