W7 and W8 Tipped to be Nokia’s First Models of Windows Phone 7

Eldar Murtazin, the most credible rumour mill for Nokia has done it again. All you Nokia fans out there will be excited to know that he has got his hands on the first Nokia WP7 prototype. He also revealed a few interesting details about Nokia’s future plans and that the Finnish phone manufacturing giants will be introducing two new Windows Phone 7 devices, reportedly the Nokia W7 and Nokia W8.

As per Microsoft’s requirements, all Nokia WP7s have to use Qualcomm chipsets. Nokia supposedly has a working prototype in its possession which is being used for in house development purposes. The W7 model is built around and resembles the hardware design of the X7. It also sports an 8 megapixel auto focus camera. Murtazin claims that the OS of the W7 reminded him of the HTC Mozart. Following soon after the W7, Nokia is said to be releasing the W8 which is made similar to the Nokia N8.

The Nokia W7 and W8 are expected to release by late this year or by early 2012. All of the above may not be true as we are still in the very fledgling stage of this know how.
