HTC's new Android tablet, the Flyer, has made its way to the UK's Carphone Warehouse. The 3G Wi-Fi tablet is priced at 599 GBP ($978) and is being offered unlocked and contract free. That may not be the price that the Flyer launches at if it makes its way to the United States, and it doesn't include carrier subsidies, but it is pretty pricy given that it runs Android 2.4 and not the tablet-optimized Android 3.0 Honeycomb version. As a refresher, the Flyer packs a 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and offers some compelling HTC services such as Scribe, and OnLive's on-demand gaming services. The tablet is expected to start shipping in early May. For more on the Flyer, be sure to check out our hands-on gallery.
