All Teens Want This Holiday Season is Apple’s iPhone, Survey Says

This holiday season, all kids want is Apple’s iPhone—more than any other electronic on the market. According to a new ebates.com survey, which polled 500 teens ages 12 to 17, about 90 percent of respondents said they want an electronic gift of some kind this year, with smartphones and consoles among the most popular products. Apple, unsurprisingly, particularly stood out as the favorite among the younger demographic.
About one-third of those surveyed said they want an iPhone, with another 24 percent saying their gift of choice would be an iPad. Meanwhile, 12 percent of teens said they’d like a Samsung smartphone, while a surprising 4 percent mentioned the Korean company’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch—hopefully they know they need a Samsung smartphone in order for that watch to even work. Teen girls predominantly put apple’s iPhone on their holiday wish list, while about 28 percent of boys said they want Sony’s new PlayStation 4, which comes out this Friday.
