A slightly less bling version of HTC's blinging HTC One.
HTC already has a gold HTC One. However, that one was a little bit on the expensive side. Announced last month and valued at almost $4,500, the device was made to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin Awards) and was plated with 18ct. gold. This week, HTC announced what will surely be a slightly more affordable gold HTC One.
"Building on the all metal design of the HTC One, and the recent success of the HTC 18 carat gold MOBO phone, we are excited to have developed our own gold device, offering yet more choice to consumers,” said Philip Blair, President of HTC EMEA.
