Google’s Eric Schmidt Pens Guide for Switching From iPhone to Android

Google’s Eric Schmidt, who was elected to a board position at Apple in 2006, wants to teach iPhone users how to convert over to an Android device. The executive on Sunday penned a 900-word guide, aimed at his “iPhone friends,” taking users step by step on how to properly make the switch. Schmidt calls out three phones in particular, the Galaxy S4, Droid Ultra and Nexus 5 as superior devices to Apple’s latest iPhone 5s. Oddly, Schmist makes no special shout out to the Moto X, which is more iPhone than any other Android device on the market.
“Like the people who moved from PCs to Macs and never switched back, you will switch from iPhone to Android and never switch back as everything will be in the cloud, backed up, and there are so many choices for you,” Schmidt writes. “80% of the world, in the latest surveys, agrees on Android.”
