Following reports about Microsoft possibly testing Windows 8.1 a.k.a. Blue for its mobile OS, prolific tipster @evLeaks has revealed that Nokia is working on the first Windows Phone Blue devices. The tweet reads, “Nokia Goldfinger and Moneypenny are shaping up to be the first Windows Phone Blue devices.” It should be noted that both codenames are reference to characters from the James Bond canon.
The Verge further reports that Goldfinger is set to be Nokia’s flagship device. The site even quotes some unnamed sources at Nokia, revealing that the new devices will feature the company’s '3D Touch' technology. Reportedly, the '3D Touch' feature will use the devices' sensors to detect interactions that are off-the-glass.
