Nokia is rebranding its Nokia Music app/service to Nokia Mix Radio. Alongside a new name, the company also launched an updated Windows Phone app.
Should you not be familiar with the service, Nokia Music / Nokia Mix Radio provides users with a unique way to enjoy a variety of mixes and experience new music they weren’t previously aware of. The mobile app comes in free and premium (paid) flavors, and even the free part offers a ton of features. You can choose between more than 150 playlists created by Nokia’s “mixologists”, or pick your favorites from the 18-million song catalog.
The free version allows you to download (for offline listening) up to four playlists for a total of eight hours of music. And if you want to “go premium” and get unlimited downloads, you’ll have to shell out $3.99 a month.
