Hyderabad: Aiming to make a significant place in the growing smartphone market in India, Taiwanese handset maker HTC plans to increase to 15 per cent in the next two years.
Currently, HTC holds a market share of 4 per cent to 6 per cent which is dominated by Samsung and domestic players such as Micromax.
“We plan to increase our market share through our 14-month long campaign ‘Here’s to Change’,” said Faisal Siddiqui, country head, HTC India said, adding that they will be launching HTC One Max next week in India, priced at Rs 56,500.
