Samsung Galaxy S5 Gets Release Date in Q1 2014, Upgraded Display to Beat iPhone 6; AT&T Already Testing the Next-Gen Device?

Samsung Galaxy S5 release date reigns as one of the most anticipated event in the coming months. The next-generation iPhone 5S contender is suggested for a reveal in Q1 2014, either at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in January or Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February.
CES takes place in Las Vegas from Jan. 7 to 10, and could be the debut stage for the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Another rumor suggests that The South Korean tech giant will unveil the Galaxy S5, with a 2560 x 1440 QHD display, at MWC 2014, which will be held in Barcelona between Feb. 24 and 27, sources told ZDNet.
The Samsung Galaxy family members has recently received their own events for unveiling, and the Galaxy S2 was the last one to have its announcement at WMC. The next release date, as a result, is unlikely to be restricted by any of the mobile events.
